The iconic 1978 Kawasaki KH 250, a gem from the 70s, still commands great respect today. RTT currently offers a restored KH 250 Kawasaki for sale. Our team undertook a complete nut and bolt restoration, striving to reuse as many original parts as possible from the initial strip down. We assessed and graded every component based on its condition.
Our in-house team stripped the bike down, re-plated most fasteners, and installed new bearings and bushes, often using New Old Stock. We gave it a candy green and yellow paint job, overhauled the suspension, and rebuilt the engine to factory specs. After sonic cleaning the carburettors, we reassembled the bike to closely match its original condition.
For non-in-house tasks such as powder coating the frame and swing arm, providing hi-shine chroming on exhausts, implementing a +.25 over bore, and creating OEM replica hoses to measure, we engaged specialized suppliers. Initially, this project was a personal endeavour for weekend enthusiasts to enjoy and ride. However, a customer expressed interest during the restoration and asked to have it completed, which our team gladly did.
We take great pride in our restoration work and believe that our restored bikes before and after images speak for themselves.
